Dear SES Students and Families, 

I am honored to serve as the principal of a school with motivated students, a devoted staff, and a supportive community. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty years. In that time, I have come to understand that education is a life-long process, because when we stop learning, we stop growing. I believe that students are the heart of our school and for them to reach their full potential, we must connect education to students’ social and emotional development. It is important to create an environment where children can flourish academically because all of their needs are being met. At Selmer Elementary, we understand that children must have their social, emotional, and personal health needs met before cognitive skills can be developed. We value your partnership and will strive to maintain a positive working relationship with each of you so that our students receive the foundation they need to become well-rounded, healthy individuals. My goal is that all students from Selmer Elementary School are equipped with a solid education and important life skills to help them reach their full potential.
