Selmer Elementary School is located in McNairy County. Selmer is served by Selmer Elementary, Selmer Middle School, McNairy Central High School, and University of Tennessee at Martin (satellite campus). McNairy County is in rural West Tennessee, 100 miles east of Memphis. The current population of McNairy County is 26,094. There are 504 students attending Selmer Elementary. Approximately 77% of these students qualify for free and reduced services and 55% are classified in our direct certification. The LRE elementary grades of McNairy County Special Education program are housed at Selmer Elementary.
